I'm doing my first (sprint) triathlon at the end of August, and I have a question regarding shoes. Should I use my clipless pedals for the bike, then switch to running shoes for the run? Or should I wear my running shoes for the bike ride (I would need to get some non-clipless pedals)? I can't find anywhere online that tells me what's best. For a full-length tri, I would assume that clipless pedals are recommended. But since this is so short, transition time is really important, so would it just be a waste of time to have to change shoes from the bike to the run? Thanks! |
