I don't really have a favorite...

I rather enjoy King's writings. C.S. Lewis is entertaining as well.

I can't name just one book, but I like everything by **** Francis or Carl Hiassen for a good beach read.

Wuthering Heights, because I am a girl.

Anything by P.J. O'Rourke because he is so funny, and he is smart.

Atlas Shrugged because I am smart.

Wow, I am just starting to read the stuff I SHOULD have read during High school. Not too sure I want to revisit the Heights... Way too smart for me.. After all, it's in ENGLISH. I dig P.J. though. gotta love a cynic...

Best ski trainer reads:
Steven Pressman-Men hacking away at each other in the Mediterranean sun with swords and spears and wading in gore in their bare feet makes a ski trainer suddenly not so bad.

Yeah - I think George Orwell was a very insightful writer about the human condition and 1984 exemplifies his ability to read human behaviour well.
I like most of Orwells stuff.

I also like John LeCarre too.

But most of my reading is non-faction variety.
