Default Dear Cycling Expert

Dear Cycling Expert,

When I got dressed to ride my bike home after work, I discovered that I had one black sock and one navy sock.

Should I have put the navy sock on my left foot or my right foot?

Thankyou,

Novice Cyclist

Obviously, the black sock goes on the foot on the crankset/chain side. Ergo the blue sock should go on your left foot.

Bad advice. Obviously, the black sock goes on the left foot since the left foot is the red headed step child of feet. Proof: dancing like you have two left feet. As for the navy sock, do not put it on the right foot. It goes on the starboard foot.

Neither.

Socks are for frail, thin-skinned, momma's boys who need an extra layer of protection between themselves and the harsh world in which they dwell. Instead, stuff both socks in your mouth until you learn how to stop acting like such a wimpering pussy.

Just color the top of the blue sock with black marker. You don't need to do the whole sock just anything that pokes out of the shoe. While you are doing that you can draw some special proctective glasses on your face and maybe a wristwatch (left wrist) so you will be matching.

Thankyou for you advice Cycling Expert,

On the way home last night I failed to get the phone number of any of the female cyclists, I think it was due to the socks.

What colour socks do you recommend?

Thanks again,

Cycling Novice.

Pink, with puppy dogs on 'em. By looking non-threatening you're likely to pocket a lot of female phone numbers and invitations to "girls' nights out." This is an ideal situation, as once the girls are drunk on their night out, you can safely reveal your more lascivious nature, openly groping them and also videoing them doing things together that we all know that girls do together on their nights out.

Roll up the socks and stuff the socks in your pants, but please note they are a lot more effective with the females if you place them in the front rather than in the rear. There is no distinction of color once they are tucked inside the lucra. Of course if a female follows you home be sure and turn out the lights before removing the socks.
After that you are on your own.

note: I don't need no stinking socks myself.

You wouldn't happen to be from St Louis would you, not too many people outside of the area refer to the Blue Note.

If your having that much trouble picking up women, I doubt its the socks dude. If you don't look like a troll, maybe personal hygene, but blaming socks........sounds fishy, or do you smell fishy? Have you washed the socks in the past 6 months?

It all depends on your confidence level, the feel good factor, it have nothing to do with the socks, if feel you feel good wearing right sock then do it, if you are confidence females will come to you.
So wear the stuffs that makes you feel good.
