And, as we pointed out, makes the frame stiffer and more responsive. But more comfortable to ride. My youngest daughter (4 y.o.) is now riding her pink Disney bike without training wheels since I covered her Barbie helmet and knee and elbow pads (don't ask) with this carbon fiber. It is miraculous.
