i'll take that as a no.

the last ride i took pics on. 4:33:33 rolling time. 39 x 13 all the way. 16.3 outbound, 16.7 inbound and no, that is not fast so don't go there, it was just to get on the bike. 75. 78 miles.

camera phone century pics this weekend.

not just raining, monsooning. which reminds me of the time i was out on the fulshear route ( cheap little 60 miler) and got caught in one. i was all alone with the wind and hail attempting to toss me into the ditch which were overflowing and so i could only ride in the middle of the two lane road as were all vehicles in premium rush hour that were out there with me. they gave me room, which is always nice let alone for the lighting and hail in my way.

yup, i ride to ride and nothing usually stops me once i've started, except a mechanical. oh wait, not even that because that's why cyclocross was invented.

Cool Re: Daily Ride Thread

My buddy and I took a new route (well, I was vaguely familiar with it up to a point) roughly this route:

MapMyRide.com | View Wauwatosa To Pewaukee And Around Lake in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

..with an extra 9 miles added onto it.

The part where everyone mocks us is the total ascent was 800 feet and it kicked our asses. Damn this flat state!

Yeah - but can be a little unnerving to some though when you ride under some low-hanging power lines, especially if they're buzzing....

I'm an electrician so the buzzing noise from them doesn't bother me.

That route also has quite a few brutal hills and climbs.

As far as traffic goes, that depends on where I go, there are a few busy roads and streets in my area, especially Route 3A - I've been the target of a few ignorant loud-mouths on that road at times. But the State Forest, you can't beat it - plenty of room, very little traffic even during peak season, but plenty of hills and valleys if you're into climbing training. And those who drive in and through the park have been very respectful, there's plenty of passing room on every road, MSSF even has a lot of paved trails for MTB'ers - my wife has ridden every single one. MSSF straddles Plymouth and Carver in MA here in the US.

one favorite ride i do country roads few hills for bout 15 miles on the way home theres about 5 miles of very slightly down hill this road has loads of bend including through a section where trees are forming a natural tunnel if coming through here at 30mph plus is some sensation specialy evening when it can be quite dull you have to remember the curves on the road bit nerve racking first few times..........but hey
