Happy Birthday, Cyber!

Hope you had a good day and a good ride.

I went for a ride this morning and someone driving in the opposite lanes of a divided 4 lane street yelled "BUD PARROT" at me, whatever the heck that is supposed to mean. At least I think they were yelling at me, I didn't see anyone else around.

Oh well.....

Oh man, I went out for a nice 35 miler today, and ended up doing a life-destroying 58 miler. What happened was I did my usual 22 mile loop, and then went a different way (that I mapped out on a little paper for my back pocket). I was really feeling great and ridiing strong, until around 29 miles, where I had to take a right turn on a fork (one of many), and the sign wasn't there, so I kept going on the main. By the time I started to question myself, I figured I rode way too far to turn around, and I knew I would eventualy end up on one of the main roads.

But the other thing that I didn't expect were the big hills that just went almost straight up (or at least it looked and felt like it). I've never pushed this hard before, and when i got back, I passed out for 3 hours . I love it!

Also I never realized how many phases of fatigue and then power you can go through.
