A freind of mine trashed his front wheel in a drainage grate. After he healed, he tried several temporary fixes. This is my favorite. I think that it would be a great commuter, especially for trips to the grocery store. Might be good for loaded touring too. One other good point is that you don't have to find something to lean it on when you are not riding it.
