I used to work for an insurance company. Generally their staff tended to smoke, and were in poor condition overall. Exercise was done by a small minority. I invite you to tell me your age and weekly mileage so I can send the results to some former co-workers to prove a point.

OK, I couln't get this poll to work either...I don't have the patience, too quick on the keyboard !! Just reply to my original Post (OP) and I will get this post excised surgically by the Architect (I'm a fan of the Matrix movies)

Merged the two threads. Tried to add the poll, couldn't find the option, so answers will have to be posted in the thread itself. Looks like the poll has to be added at the time the thread is created.

nothing like it should be at the moment. when i first got my bike i was riding around 200 to 250 a week. seriously, that's all i did. thinking about making a daily habit of 30 - 50, weekends will have to be back to back centuries and then when i'm a bit more enthusiastic about actually riding a bike again, one day city to cities. houston to college station for instance is 112 miles. how fitting.

34 and not even enough. While I was deployed I was hitting about 50 - 60 a week on the stationary (because that was all I had access to). Now that I am home I have only been able to get my mountain bike out once and have yet to get my road bike out at all. Not that I don't want to, it's just that I have a "honey do" list a mile long! |
