Default Golden Gate National Recreation Area

This is my third try. The deal: Ride the GGNRA, PG Wodehouse stories, and COOKIES! Yes, thats right, I said cookies. I am talking about chocolate chip cookies. Imagine a great trail ride followed by story time with cookies. Unless you people are made of stone I expect some excitement and action. Reply to this message. Tell me that you love to ride the GGNRA, that your mother read to you and you want more stories, that you are a "cookie person" , willing to endure light romantic comedy for a decent cookie. Reply Now. (must bring own milk)

You might get more luck in the "Bike Connections" forum..

I love riding that area! Though I don't do it nearly enough (I'm that kind of a cyclist where I enjoy and value being able to just rocket out of my garage at the start of a 30mile ride...) The Tiburon Loop not far away is a great ride that I do more often...

Story and Cookies? I'm not made of stone, but how would that work? Would everyone just all gather around in a semi-circle after the ride?

On a funny Note, when I first saw the Sign "Golden Gate NRA" I thought to myself... "Dang! those gun lobbyists are everywhere!" *laughing*

Thank-You for the info. I am not,"looking for love", and "connections" sounds risque.

Semi-circle or rombus is ok too. I know the tib. loop well. you could be in the ggnra fast from that area. Access from main bike path through Tenesee Valley to the Mewok or Marincello trails. No cars...think about it. To your question, yes, thats pretty much "it". I come over the ggb go up cozelman onto the bay trail or out to the forts above Point Bonita. Hang out then loop the ridge trails or park and hoof a walker only trail. I am mostly alone I allways have a book. Its mellow, no tests.

Thanks for the info. Also, cookies aren't just for midnight snacks. They are good anytime.

The classic "Tahoe" cookie has white chocolate chips. I know where I can lay my hands on a few... The general area is the GGNRA, I have no set times. So far it is only me. I often don't have a ride plan and I'am half way up to Hawk Hill before I have an idea. If its clear , I go high for views. If foggy head for a beach or march. I have no idea how to set up a ride. Ideas?

i just started cycling again after a many year layoff. a friend took me around the Paradise Drive loop. fun and not too challenging for a not so fit fellow (a.k.a. me).

so what's a classic "tahoe" cookie mean? you're not baking these fresh for the ride???

Peperidge Farm bakes them fresh and leaves them for me at the Marina Safeway. But if your offering, go ahead and do the baking. One suggestion, be agressive with the chips...
