Default Training Rides Around Paris

I'm going to be staying in Paris for the month of September to attend a training course and am wondering if it would be worth bringing my roadie with me.

I'd like to go training in the early morning and on the weekends. It would also be cool to sample some cycling in a foreign (to me) land.

At the moment it looks like I will be staying in the Alesia - Montparnesse area.

Does anyone know of some good training rides around Paris which take in some of the local scenery?

Cheers

I should mention im keen on rides between 40 and 120-ish km (the shorter for weekday morning/evening and the longer for the weekends)
