Default Anyone ride the 'Upper Canada Heritage' Trail in Niagara?

I'm planning a weekend out to Niagara and can't seem to find any clear info on the Upper Canada Heritage Trail? Plenty of maps and articles about it but I can't find any good descriptions or pictures of its condition. Most articles state that its better suited for MTB's but I need to know if that's just because its not paved? I'll be towing my daughter in a trailer on my old 10 speed cruiser so I'm not sure if it will handle the old trail. Any photos or links you can share?
Thanks
