Default Good news for Canadian cycling - FINALLY!

Huge cycling news!!!!

This is big, it marks the beginning of the end for the Pro Tour

That is excellent for Canadian cycling

Of course the UCI brown-nosing officials in Canadian cycling, a la Brian Jolly or Pierre Hutsebaut won’t tell you that.

Others like Bill Kinash or Lorraine Lafreniere are too dumb to figure it out.

BUT THIS IS HUGE.

It is great news for Canadian cycling. The UCI has been killing the sport in their attempt to cash in on it and make it a typical North American league deal.

That is not the nature of cycling.

I will elaborate on all this later. Let’s give Canadian Cyclist and Pedal Magazine time to catch up. Maybe they can even get a comment from Pat McQuaid?

Lefevere steps up UCI feud
Quick Step team manager Patrick Lefevere, one of the leading advocates of the ProTour series, sees no point in his team staying in series sponsored by the International Cycling Union (UCI) next season.

"Our sponsors don't see why they should stay in the ProTour as we could see our invitations to some leading races turned down," the Belgian manager said.
