Default Trek 5900 frame

I have owned my trek 5900 for almost
3 years.
My concern is ,How many frame cracks
do I need before Trek will waranty my
frame?
Cracks appear on bottom bracket area,
top of seat stays & fork crown.I can insert my finger nail into one of them!
I made contact with the local trek shop/
no one has offered me a new replacment!
Thanks,
Martin

Depends on if it is cracks in the paint at the lug joints or actual failure of the bond at the joints. Try abother LBS or a trek Factory rep. Cracks in paint are cosmetic, but Trek has warranted it.

The Trek dealer should certainly look at the frame and make a determination. If these are paint cracks, believe you'll have a tough time getting Trek to replace the frame. As you know, the Trek warranty covers paint and decals for one year.
