Default Trek Navigator 50, 100 ?

I am looking to start with something on the low cost end. Any words of wisdom on the Trek 50? Is it worth another $80 to go to the 100?

Dealer says this is one of the most comfortable (at that cost). Felt really good, but I was always under the impression that the more flat riding position was more comfortable?

Opinions? Thanks
