I can see why they might be needed in the water as the s.g. of water and flesh is very similar and you do notice more muscle movement in the water than on dry land ( been watching the ladies diving - 3 mt springboard ) but cycling you only seem to notice vibration on pavè or mountainbikeing . Here your problem is keeping cool and we´d ride naked if it would help

- it´s not recommended , I tried it on the cycletrainer at home and it´s uncomfortable and slippy ( 32 C and two fans blowing a gale ) , and in the sun you´d burn to a crisp .
