Default Ghisallo or C50 or 5900??

Well, I have been reading a lot of reviews, but wanted a direct comparison. I am looking at getting either the Litespeed Ghisallo, Colnago C50, or the Trek 5900. I know the major differences, i.e. material, but I am unable to find a LBS that I can test ride each. In hind sight, I am asking everyones opinion, preferably those who own or have riddent any before.

Thanks in advance,

Josh

I don't think you can get a fair analysis based on people's different experiences. If need be I'd suggest going to different LBS and test riding and retest riding each one. At that price range I'd doubt there would be something glaringly bad about a certain bike that would merit some sort fo negative feedback.

Yea I agree, but unfortunately, I cannot find one within a fair amount of distance from me, unless someone knows somewhere special.

It will not be that much, only looking at the frame... would be around $3K. Hearing what people have to say, might force me to try to find one of the frames at an LBS to ride, just to make sure, but I will have to hunt extra hard for one (LBS).

Yea dude, I know I am using the WORLD wide web, just could not place the exact meaning of AUD.

Next time I will just act like I know what the heck I'm talkin about eh?

Your teachers ever tell you that the only dumb question is the one not asked? if not, maybe you should think about that next time then, eh champ?

How about we get back to the topic at hand, instead of chastising the posters?

On your three bikes? Yes....

All are absolute top-shelf gear and I'd be surprised if you are disappointed if you bought any of them. If you do get to ride them, I reckon you'll pick the C50. Best frame going around at the moment.

But seriously, you could buy any of them sight unseen from a catalog if you know your size and have no qualms whatsoever.

Hey, thanks man, at least I have some confidence going blind, if in fact I am unable to ride any of them.

I wish I did have an LBS that would carry these particular ones. Might have to make a road trip out of it.

Instead of giving you feedback how about more things to ponder? Are you looking to ride 1)what Lance does, 2) something foreign/exotic, 3) something that looks different from anything else, 4) a certain type of fframe material 5) A certain color ?

Don't laugh at these topics as I ultimately chose my bike because I loved the paint job. Did I totally forego the ride and feel of the bike? No. But ultimately at that level performance will be a toss up.

Ultimately a bike that makes you feel good about having it and better yet makes you want to ride it will be the best guide you can have and that's really a personal thing.
