Default Giant TCR 1 Composite 2005 brakes

just clocked over the first 1000km on a new TCR 1 composite (Australasian model). Composite Tektro brake calipers are more looks than function. Original brake pads are rubbish. They shred pretty quickly - change them straight away. Dura-ace pads work much better. Wheels are Ksyrium SLs.
