Default HED Disk problem

Just bought myself a HED disk wheel - unfortunately the head of my track pump won't fit into the hole in the disk to inflate it. Anyone got any solutions short of buying a new pump. Would it be safe to make the hole bigger or would this damage the integrity of the wheel????

Cheers
Brian

I hear people talk about using an adapter that Silca makes; see:
http://www.trisports.com/sipudiwhad.html
or
http://www.nytro.com/silca-disc-wheel-adapter.html
(lots of vendors seem to carry it)

Looks like it may be a handful to use though.

I have the same problem with my disc...it's a Renn575. My LBS suggested using an adapter that Serenaslu has suggested... I did see the Silca adapter at use in fact at that LBS...it seems to also eliminate the need for that odd lever at the end of the pump.

I would look at this as the best option.

Thanks for the advice - I'll see if I can get hold of one.
