British frame Paint / Restoration ??????

I have this nice British frame that I want to get painted . I need to have it looked over by a good frame builder to insure everything is lined up. I have a few estimates already from national painters, but the prices seem outragous. I know people are going to tell me that you get what you pay for," but in this case I am paying for things that are already done. Does anyone know any good framebuilders that paint frames also ???? And does anyone know of anyone in England that does the enamel jobs that were popular back in the day??? Thanks ....
