Default Cleat Question

SOS - i've been mountain biking for a while, but have just started to get into road biking. i've recently purchased a pair of nike stevio road shoes and have beenusing look pedals and cleats, after trying a friend's shimano's, however, i've decided that i like those pedals better. problem is, i can't figure out how to mount spd cleats to my shoes, it should be simple, i know. please adivse.

Sounds like you got the SPD-R pedals. Those require a special bolt pattern.

ShimaNO made these and forced the industry to change bolt patterns. Now they went to a more standard 3 bolt pattern, but now they have lots of users stuck with that design. How nice of them.

Find out if you have the SPD-R or the new SPD-SL
