Hello i'm a newbie cyclist who owns a Trek 7100fx. I want to buy a pump that doesn't turn my right arm into mash potato. I have seen people in bike shops using pumps that look very easy to use. It doesn't need to be portable - i will use it at home. can anyone recommend such a thing? I would like to purchase it online and don't want to spend more than £30. many thanks daniel |

I have a Silca floor pump that works great (and are rebuildable and generally last forever, apparently); you should be able to find it for less than 30 UKP given exchange rates and all. The only thing that I don't like about it is the little attachment thing you need to use to pump up presta valves (it's an adapter thing that gets pushed onto the valve, and then you screw the pump hose onto the adapter.)
