Default standard aero wheel v. HED 3

Which wheel (for the front) is faster for a 40k tt? (I'm thinking of building up a litespeed blade.)

Lance A wouldn't be riding the HED 3 for TT's if it wasn't the fastest wheel. I have a set too in my Cervelo Soloist Team.

disks are faster than tri spokes which are faster than deep section spoked wheels.

so since you cant use a disk on the front, a 3 spoke is the way to go for max aerodynamic advantage.

HED 3 is more aero but some complain that it is affected by crosswinds. It is also heavier than many spoked wheels and that may be a liability in very hilly time trials.
