Anyone have them or has used them?  Lightweight and super strong, the stealth PBO is the ultimate racing or training wheel. I would suggest Mavic Ksyrium or Campy (which are available in Shimano compatible freehub versions). Both brands have proven reliability with replacement parts available if needed. If you want to go big bucks, Zipp and Hed are good. Bontrager and Rolf, like Spinergy, have a mixed reputation for reliability. If you are a "fat climber" and want a solid but fairly light wheel. You could get a set of custom wheels made with Dura-Ace, Record, Chris King or similar high quality hub with sturdy but fairly light rim like Velocity and high quality spokes such as Sapim CX-ray or DT revolution. Total weight would be in the 1600-1700gm/pair or so range and they would be very strong. |
