I've had my '04s since '04. Love them too. I've never heard of someone breaking a spoke on Eurus wheels (unlike Ksyriums ). The '06 are made with bladed aluminium spokes, different from the steel aero spokes on the old model.

I you ride enough miles you will eventually break a spoke. The question is not "if" but "when" :-)

Of course on a bad wheel you will break spokes much more frequently.

Well, in 18 years of cycling I've never broken a spoke on a road bike. So it must be coming soon then?! Mountain bike is another story entirely though...

What's your opinion on the 2006 Prestige with the Aksiums. I'm thinking of purchasing this bike for myself.
