Default Continental Grand Prix 4000 vs. Conti All-Season

Jost got my new custom bike...all is as ordered except LBS put Conti All-Season tires on Mavic OPs instead of GP4000s, as requested. Size is 700x25...waned something a little wider. What's the group's experience? I heard good things about 4000s, nothing about the all-seasons. Annoyed at not being asked, but won't rock the boat if they're comparable....
