Default Bar Ends on a Carbon Bar

Is it advisable NOT to put bar ends on a carbon bar?

If I want bar ends, should I use an aluminum bar?

Default Re: Bar Ends on a Carbon Bar

There are ends designed for carbon bars eg STlites. Others have the clamp's opening slit in a spiral to spread the load. I crushed my bars and ended up making aluminium inserts that I shoved in the end to provide a support for the ends.
