Default Campagnolo Eurus 20 wheels and 8 speed

g'day all,

I've bought some old Campagnolo Eurus 20 wheels, not sure how old, they're silver and in good nick. There's an 8 speed 12/23 cassette installed and it works on my 2006 Giant CRX1 with 9 speed shifter except that it won't go into 8th gear until I select 9. I'm not too worried as they're only for spare but ideally I'd like to put a 13/28 Veloce cassette on and been told it may not fit as the spline will be Miche on the Eurus 20 wheel.

Does anyone have any thoughts of a cheap solution for fitting either a 12/27 or 13/27 or 28 (some wicked hills where I live)

Thanks for any advice given
Tony
