Default stripped crank arm

i have managed to strip the crank arm on my mountain bike, is there anyway to jerry rig it so the pedal stays in the cranks and i can take trails with it ... without replacing the whole crank or crank arm..?

You screwed the left pedal in the right crank. I doubt there is any solution short of welding it. It might be interesting to take it to your local welder and see if they can help you. My guess $10 a crank arm. I suspect that you could get a replacement crank on eBay.

You can buy a kit to rethread the pedal socket - it involves putting a little coil in the hole. Ask a good LBS.

Did I miss something here? Where did the OP admit to having put the wrong pedal in a crank?
