I think it's obvious to Mr.Klein and anyone else doing cursory research on ROIbike USA.com or whatever link it is that you keep posting that the same person to whom you frequently refer has already gained some ignominy here. http://www.cyclingforums.com/t237404-.html

A clear history of posing as a consumer, getting caught and denying it. Not to mention that many of the items you recommend here on this forum are also for sale by the same person selling ROI bikes on ebay.(it only takes a couple clicks to find that out) Even the writing style is the same as vector 7 from the above mentioned thread.

Maybe the bike is awesome but subterfuge isn't going to do ROI any favors. It's not that hard to spot... You come in, announce you ordered the bike then two weeks later post that you received it from Italy in 2.5 weeks and now have 850 miles on it? Does the bike have an optional time-machine feature as well? That's only the tip of the iceberg. The internet can be a powerful tool. And before you muse that I have too much time on my hands you should consider that, potential customers research. And this research wasn't that hard. Your grandiose claims alone are enough to raise an eyebrow. To a thinking person, you sir are the equivalent of a cat's ball of yarn.

100miles are you talking to yourself? Or thinking out loud? I'm not following you one bit.

Yes I see it too. That is it. ROI appears to be a very nice bike and probably does come from a small dedicated maker. They are only marketed by a nut ball which scares me off. Why all the deception? Why not just present yourself honestly and show your product. You can be excited about you bike line but posing as a forum member who just loves to share great reports on everything your alter ego has to sell is not honest. I doubt ROI wants this as there sole U.S. marketing effort. The person behind this has ridden many bikes, very possible, but he has broken-in half-
a mavic Carbone rear wheel, a calfee frame, again in half, a token bb-in half and I think he mentioned some other frames splitting on him. I have really hesitated to say too much and I don't intend to seem mean spirited but George, dude-why to you tell so many crazy race/travel/training/wife/girlfriend stories? You have a nice product, just sell it. No one will think less of you if you are just george the Roi guy. You seem to love cycling and are obviously knowledgeble SO WHY ALL THE MADNESS? It's o.k. george-you can tell me-you are with friends now-everything is going to be fine. Just cool out with the stories. Oh yes-any advise for Lance in the NYC marathon? I see you ran the second half of your marathon in like 55 minutes? Oh George! That is about 14 MPH!! A new world record! I want to like you and your ROI bikes (which are cool) but i am afraid to give my $ to such a siily man!

MrKlein why are you referring to me as George. George is the guy I met at Eurobike. Are you confused or something? I ride lots of different bikes. You guys are really smoking something not too good for the brain. Not sure where you and 100miles are going with all this, but its really starting to irritate me. Where do you come off accusing me of such things? Did I say something to offend you? If I did, I apologize, but I don't think I have done anything other than reply to your posts. I'm not too sure either about the Marathon comment. You guys are making ZERO sense to me. I thought you were cool guys, but I guess I was wrong. No offense, but good luck with your search for a new bike. If you want to talk about other bikes on your list, let me know. I may have ridden them before. Other than that. Good Luck with your search

I tihnk you're being a bit rough there MrKlien. Carbonguru has heaps of posts in this forum and has only just starting raving about his new bike. To me he sounds like a very well paid (lucky) cycling enthusiast and has a better set of legs and lungs than most of us.
Go and read all his posts, he mentioned seeing roi a long time ago, now he has one and loves it. Read his other posts on other topics too. I repect his opinion, seems to ride a lot and at a high level.

The geometry of the 54 fits me like a glove. It is very comfortable. Another guy who bought an ill-fitting one instantly judged all of them to be terrible bikes. You are quite unlucky being in between two sizes, I would say you are missing out, but your Mag-Ma is quite a beautiful, and different, bike.

no. if they were sold in my area (ohio) i missed them.

People have told me there is no such thing but I still have some. They worked fine-they were called tita-ace and were I think under 300 grams. I was 6'2" and about 120 lbs (world health organization kept offering me free cheese) so I may not have been the best judge-but they rode well and the ti shure looked cool when polished. Thanks for the chance to ramble a bit! Oh yes, be ware the clickable link! There may be a snake down that hole! No token for me!
sorry to go off topic, but it was great to hear you ramble and thanks for reminding of rides from many decades ago!

I agree Mr. Klein was being rough, but he's just reporting what is easily found on the internet as was I. Just do a search on Yahoo and Google on George Ama III. The same guy who got caught on this forum hawking token products. He's the one selling ROI bikes here in the US and on ebay. Just because he's nice and has a lot of posts (in a little over one month) doesn't mean he has any more credibility than the next guy. I did the same internet searches that Mr. Klien did. It's crazy what you can find! There was even a cached discussion on the runner's world forum about him. Not very complimentary. Anyone who is thinking of spending $3k on a bike should at least google the seller. I don't know for sure carbonguru is George, but reading the thread on Token products is eerily similar. And, unless you're actually interested in buying the bike, who cares? Its just stupid drama. But he is all over this forum advocating products for sale by George Ama on ebay. So, do with it what you will. The info is easy to find by anyone with the internet. I know, for myself (and it seems Mr. Klein too), it scared me away from a product that I was an inch away from purchasing. And I agree with Mr. Klein... if someone can't present their product legitimatly then I believe they must not truly believe in it.

Then again, maybe carbonguru truly has no clue about what I am talking and will be directly posting pics of his brand new (well with 1000 miles) ROI magma with 2007 Campy Record, Topolino AC29's with Maxxis Courchevels, Speedplay Zero Pedals and 2 Zefiro Carbon Water Bottle Cages. He certainly is very excited about it. And at the same time, his new soloist carbon and monster bikes.. well see... myself... I'm not holding my breath. That's all I have to say. I already feel I've done him a favor by cluing him in that he shouldn't give out his name to potential buyers.

100miles, for the last time, THIS IS NOT GEORGE!!! I am not sure what you have against him, but you come off kind of creapy knowing so much about one guy. Are you gay or somthing?

I met him in person at Eurobike and he is a GREAT GUY!!! Kudos to him if he was involved with the growth of Token. [They were at Eurobike too and man have they grown into a Carbon Powerhouse] No matter what you say. I am just a customer who has purchased two frames from ROI [Not George] and LOVE them [at least the Mag-Ma; still waiting on the Monster to come in then I will write another review once I get some solid miles under it]

As for the Mag-Ma I have a grand total of 1141 miles on it. Tomorrow I should add another 90 miles. It is still going strong. I LOVE IT!!! My BEST frame so far that I have owned and ridden. It's your own loss if you can't see past your insecurities or wallet for that matter. ROI frames [or any specialty custom frame for that matter] are not for the financially faint. If you can afford one, I say GO FOR IT!!! Maybe then you'll find out for yourself, not 3rd party, how great their frames handle.

BTW...My new HP Camera is on the way. I will take a pic of my Mag-Ma. I'll be sure to polish it up for you. That damage insurance is worse than filing an accident claim. Too much paperwork and too long of a waiting period. I should have known.

LOL. Oh come now. You sound like a 13 year old whose been cornered... "gay"? That's the best you can do? And better start watching what you post, you're starting to contradict yourself again.... Oh, one more thing.. congratulations on having 1141 miles on a frame that you ordered right about Oct 1 and then took 2.5 weeks to ship from Italy... That would mean you received the bike about October 18th. Let's say it took one day to put your Campy 2007 parts and 2 Zefiro water bottle cages on it.. that would mean you've ridden about 142 miles per day on your new ROI bike. And that's being generous with your timetable. You are the man! How do you find so much time to be posting great product advice about Zefiro and Neuvation and Garmin (all products sold by George Ama on ebay), win court cases AND bike almost 150 miles daily!!! Just sayin....

CarbonGuru- look at moooiiiiii 100miles- look at moooiiii

now look at each other. Say sorry, arguing gets us nowhere, now move on.

Have you met a single cyclist who doesn't slightly exaggerate their mileage.

CGuru, you are sounding a little suspicious, but you do post on other threads. The funny thing is, on a current TT wheel thread you posted 'zeffiro wheels make an 85mm'. Mate, stop plugging ROI and we can all let it rest here.

Oh, BTW, since you don't have any pictures, I don't belive you yet.

I'm waiting for the stupid replacement camera from HP. Whatever you do don't buy the replacement insurance they sell. It is a complete joke [kind of like 100miles] So much paperwork to fill out and send back. I could file a lawsuit faster than make a claim. Go figure!

100miles its cool. I think we'd be good friends if we met on a ride. If you're ever in Wilmington NC let me know. My buddies and I will take you on a killer route out here.

I'm a real estate attorney. Actually, I own the firm. I have 18 Junior Attorneys that work for me. I have made a sick amount of money in my profession. I'm getting ready to retire. All I have is time. I spend majority of it on the bike and traveling to great places to ride. I'm heading back to Italy later this winter to do a couple of ride tours. Should be fun. I'll see you on the forum. Look for my next post about the Monster Frame. I should have it shortly. If I could only find someone with a 2007 Campy Record Group in stock. Until then...
