Thanks Bobby. I will keep you posted on the Monster once I get a chance to put some mileage on it.

Keep being skeptical 100miles, you don't have to buy a ROI. I won't, probably ever, so if we can all agree that carbonguru is simply another person, maybe not who he says he is, who likes ROI bikes. It doesn't matter if he is the distributor, I don't see any other posts about sales of ROI frames.

Hope you enjoy your Monster Cguru

I guess there are more intelligent people than just me who see ROI Frames for their stellar quality. This auction is obviously after I got my bike. So I'm the 1st in America to have had this frame. But who the heck cares! I can't wait to hop on my new Monster. I should be out pounding on it on our Saturday Morning ride. I'll keep you posted...
I don't hate you carbonguru! Quite the opposite... I've grown fond of you and your amusing posts. And by the hits your ROI threads get, I think others do too (well, with the probable exception of ROI bikes). I'd rather miss you if you went away. And please don't feel any pressure from me to provide proof. I feel you have very clearly presented yourself.

Who cares if carbonguru is a real person or not or just who he says he is or another person? I see his pics of the ROI frames, the look cracking. He's always helpful, who cares if his ROI frame is new or even his own.
To all you who complaint about everything, my name isn't really Strid, and I don't always wear my Superchicken suit. If you don't like the fact that someone you meet over the Internet may or may not be who he or she claims to be, then use your browser with great care. One of the great powers of the Internet is the anonymity. So ... end that pointless discussion; I don't even see how anyone can achieve more than waste time that way. It has nothing to do with what we all love, namely cycling. See attached pic.

Enjoy your ride!

Yeah, you have a point... but I don't get guys who, after spending so much time following and lurking on one of these type threads to jump in when its winding down to point out how they've remained above the fray and what a waste of time it is. It's equally pointless. Or to spend time typing some self-aggrandizing post about how much they don't care. We got it, you don't care. Others do. So move on outta the thread if you think its so stupid. Don't waste any more of your time.

Strid I completely understand your frustration. 100miles has like 25 posts. Not one of then has been to help anyone out or provide sound advice. All he does is try and cut me down. [a self-esteem problem stemming from childhood or worse yet, adulthood] I feel sorry for the chap. I am not sure what he is trying to accomplish. All I know is that you me and hundreds more, are tired of his delusional posts. I am waiting for an actual productive, non-negative post or thread from 100miles. Who knows when that will happen? Trust me, I'm not holding my breath. Cheers!

A lot of people enjoy the show. You are a scammer and not good at it. For as much and as long as you have been at this sort of thing I would think you would be better at it.You trip yourself up at every turn! I am learning some VERY interesting things about ROI!

I have an ROI Monster. I've had it for over a year now. Best damn bike I have ever raced. What are you learning about it?

General I guess I'm not the only one riding an ROI in the USA. At least you know what I'm talking about. I have only ridden the Mag-Ma frame. I am building my new Monster tomorrow. How does it ride? It sounds like it was your race bike last season. How did it handle? I know that I'll find out soon enough, but I'm chomping at the bit to get this ride built up. Thanks for any insight you could offer.

I have not heard anything bad about the bikes. Carbongeorge has talked about the Italian factory and craftsmanship. They do look good. It is probably a great bike. For knowing the owners so well he forgot to mention half are made in Taiwan. Funny ROI people don't seem to know him so well....

I bought my Monster frame up in Italy when I was deployed out there for 6 months. I know my frame was made in Italy because I watched it being built. Where are you getting your crappy information from? Verify before you speak boy. Don't make an ass out of yourself.

Oh, I am certain about this. But don't get mad at me. Half their bikes are made in Taiwan. I never said your was did I? NO I didn't. I said half were. Why do you think my info is crappy? Why do you think they are all Italian. Even carbonguru admits this. But not you. You saw yours being built so therefore, you are sure all of the hundreds of frames they sell each year are all made in Italy. They are not. Better verify before you speak. Boy. Where are you getting your info?

You implied that all ROI frames are made in Taiwan. I just wanted you to know that mine was not.

You are probably right. It would not surprise me if their lower end frames came out of Asia. Bianchi builds their low end bikes in Asia and then paint them in Italy and say MADE IN ITALY. So does Colnago, Pinarello and Merckx. That's old news.
