MrKlein, in all fairness, I personally never asked George or Luca or anyone for that matter in the booth if they made their frames in Taiwan. They had banners in the booth with Made in Italy everywhere. What else was I suppose to think? All I know is that my frames came in boxes with MADE IN ITALY all over them. All I stated were the facts as they were presented to me and as I personally interpreted the sales information I received. Nothing more. You definitely could be right. 50% of their frames may be made in Taiwan. It still doesn't make the bikes any less interesting to me. I am just glad that I could form my own opinion. Plain and simple. The ROI frames I bought are very nice. I like them. End of discussion.

General don't worry. These guys jump to all kinds of conclusions and then state it as facts. It's mind boggling. To this day they still have to prove half the statements they have made. Personally, I don't care. You have an ROI and that is good enough for me. Do you have any of their wheelsets? I am interested in those too.

You are probably right. It would not surprise me if their lower end frames came out of Asia. Bianchi builds their low end bikes in Asia and then paint them in Italy and say MADE IN ITALY. So does Colnago, Pinarello and Merckx. That's old news.

I said half were made in Taiwan. I never implied all were.See the earlier post and verify. A Taiwan bike doesn't mean anything bad I just pointed out that ROI bikes are not ALL made in Italy. There is nothing wrong with ROI, in fact they are really great looking bikes. I think that it is good to know all the details. Now about that U.S. "distributor"...

Another doppleganger for George? Could not possibly be. George would never, ever do something like that--not in a million years. I cannot wait for Vector7 to resurface.

Bobby I asked this before, but who is Vector7 or Vector8? Is this an inside joke or something. Still confused on that one.

By the way I bid on some new Zefiro Cages for the Monster from that zefiro-usa on eBay and won! Guess who the seller is? Drum roll please....it's not George!!! It's a guy named Marcus Wellman. I messaged him and he is the only authorized ROI Dealer to be selling on eBay. I brought up his claim too about having the 1st Mag-Ma in America and told him that I already put 1000+ miles on mine over a months period. So I was the 1st to have it. He graciously concured.

So that George theory of selling under zefiro-usa is squashed. Sorry to disappoint y'all, but I thought it would only be right if I jumped in and did some "investigating" myself. Strike One!

What's next on the list? Oh! Carbonguru being George. Well, lets go look in the mirror. Nope, its still me. Not George. Strike Two!

Bobby...I never replied to your response about the Mag-Ma looking unridden. Take a close look at the BB Threads and my Headset Area in the pics. There are no scratches or marks because the bike is basically band new. The chain never hit the stays. I never crashed. The bike only got wet once. I wipe my bikes down after every ride. Trust me. The bike was ridden.

Well boys, I took the day off to build the Monster. I'll keep you posted on its ride quality once I can take it out for a spin.

"Well boys?" That's the same line you used as vector 7. I don't know why you are trying so hard to cover George if you are not him. I spoke with you, I actually considered buying from you. Before giving you money, I googled you and it brought me to this forum (http://www.cyclingforums.com/t237404.html). It was so easy. Following that, I did a search on this forum for ROI and it brought me to your Mag Ma thread. It was like an epiphany, it was so obvious. ROI Bike-USA closed its ebay store. Don't know exactly why but I suspect it may have been the negative feedback. Then Zefiro-USA was opened with the same photos and merch. Gotta sell a lot of halo headbands to pump up that rating. Am I lying? You don't have to judge, all the cached ebay pages are still there.

I dodged a bullet by those who called you out as Vector 7 and I'm grateful they did so. But you keep this going by continuing to come back to begin new threads. Keep coming back and lying George Ama, there's enough easily-found info on you to keep posting and exposing. Did you get your mag-ma money from Shannan in Wasilla, Alaska? Too bad for Shannan that he didn't come to this forum before George Ama got his money. (go ahead and deny and pretend to not know what I'm talking about, I can always post the link. I hope he googles you and gets some satisfaction that all your karma is coming back at you.)

So what's next George, will we be visited by Marcus Wellman (MD?) who will tell us all what asses were being? Or will the General come back from his acting gig on GI Jane to tell us all to "drop and do 20?"

But you already had 2 Zefiro water bottle cages on your Mag-ma. Remember? You stripped all that stuff off your Mag-Ma to put onto the monster. You showed us the empty Magma frame minus the 2 Zefiro water bottle cages. Were those flushed down the toilet too?

And where is your new Cervelo Carbon?

These frames look like nothing special. However, if one of them was previously built up, before this thread, then someone should learn to remove paint from the BB faces. Leaving paint there is a no no.

If neither frame was previously built up, then no foul.

I thought the same thing about the BB faces. In fact I figured that the frame probably had not been built up. I will concede though that the head tube looked as if there may have been a headset pressed into it at one time.

Since you are trying to claim that it is on your "shop" floor, you may want to remove that ebay camera icon in the lower right corner. Also, A QUICK CHECK OF ZEFIRO USA'S COMPLETED AUCTIONS SHOWS THAT NO WATER BOTTLE CAGE AUCTIONS HAVE ENDED SINCE OCTOBER 29.
