Default What kind of headset ?

I know it's a threadless headset, but what kind if headset does the '06 Trek 1000 use ? is it a integrated ?

Non-integrated 1 1/8 inch. Do you need to replace it or are you just curious? Comes stock with a generic aheadset, should last you quite a bit. More on headsets at: http://www.parktool.com/repair/readhowto.asp?id=68
