Default HED wheels

I race on a pair of Ksyrium Elites and I do love those wheels. I have been looking at a pair of race wheels however, or maybe just a new set of wheels all together for all riding. I have been looking at the SSC's for some time now and as everyone knows they are apparently the rage. Out of all the usual suspects (shimano, bontrag, mavic, cane, etc.) no one has really mentioned much about HED. Grazing over there site and some info I kinda fell in love with there rims, anyone know much about them? Or if there wheels would hold up to training rides as well as race rides? They seem pretty bomb proof.

I've got hed alps (clinchers). I use them for road races and time trials. great wheels, but race wheels only. not for everyday if you want them to last.

I would agree. Superb wheels but I wouldn't use them for training.
