Default help choosing a bike: specialized allez 01 or fuji finest 4.0 06

So I'm shopping for a road bike, which will ultimately be used for local riding at first, and then some longer rides around the area (and possibly some touring). The two used bikes I've found in my price range are an 2001 Spec Allez Sport w/ Shimano 105, carbon fork and an 2006 Fuji Finest 4.0 w/ Shimano 2200.

I know that 105's are better than 2200, but I'm having trouble factoring in the age. Is it better to get the newer lower end bike, or the older middle-end bike? Does anyone have any advice on this, assuming that both bikes are the same price and in pretty good shape?

Thanks!!!!!!
