what is a 2004 specialized allez worth?

Anyone own a Specialized Allez - a 2004? I have a chance to buy one that is in like new condition for $300. Do you think this is a fair price??

A friend of mine has an Allez (I think it's an 04... if not, an o5) and they are a decent starter roadbike... I think $300 is a fair enough price if all is in good order.

Does it have the original wheels? If the wheels are upgraded than it is certainly a good price.
