Bobby, you are the ultimate bike pornographer! Seeing how I have 12 bikes (hey, only one woman though), I'll just show my latest bike build aside my next to latest build (love those Giants). note: I did lop off that long steerer tube a week later. http://www.worldbike.com/Giant/index.html |

Since I have12 bikes (only one woman though) I'll just show my latest build aside my next to latest build (love those Giant TCRs!). Note: I trimmed down that long steerer a week after the pics were taken. http://www.worldbike.com/Giant/index.html |

Here's me and my lovely new bike. ![]() This was from before I had even taped the bars. It's got about 250 miles on it now in the last week and a half... Oh, and I now have ROL Volant wheels and Conti GP 4000 tires on it...

one question -how the hell did you get the bike to stand on it own did you have someone holding it then let go real quick for the pic & catch it again - or was it all 'done with mirrors'?? |

I got the protocols because my boss came up and said 'you aren't racing on a set of our wheels, why don't you try these, they are doing them cheap at the moment' Oh and for reference, they are protocol LTDs. They have a DT made 240s internals rear hub that I'm so glad to feel again. That star ratchet is so solid. I think they upgraded a couple of other things, but DT aerolite spokes, reasonably deep rims and good lacing make them great to ride. They are lighter than the normal protocols (by a claimed 68g) and mine came in at 1473g for the set, with a claimed of 1460, that isn't bad. They are extremely comfortable to ride as well. Need to tie the back though. And I'm loving the steel bikes. And that Rock Lobster is off the hook. How much does it weigh? Last thing. In regards to it standing up, cone stamp and healing brush are amazing tools.

Photoshop in general is a wonderful tool... The Lobster checks in at about 17.75 pounds (with the new wheels). I'll have to get it on a more precise scale to give a better number.
