love em? hate em?

my friend has them hanging up in his junk garage, and i'm going to bum them off him, he's not useing them.
does anyone know any pros & cons of the product?

i'm rollin with mavics right now, not anything special, but going to be a step up to the carbon fibres!

Not to make you paranoid or anything....but you should be careful, as there were reports of the "spokes" pulling out of the rim where they were pinned in! That may be one of the reasons that they stopped making them....and also why the UCI banned them. Our federation here in Japan (JCF) also banned them from use in competition, even TTs, about 4 or 5 years ago.
Having said that, you still find some people using them for training, triathlons, centuries, etc, without any problems. If, however, you are planning to use them in competition, you might want to check with your local federation to see if they are legal or not.
