Default PIC: Could this be causing the squeak?

The squeak has been bad lately. I got brand new Look Keo Sprint Pedals and it didn't go away. I rode my bike up to the store today and wore my running shoes on top of the pedals and it squeaked, so I know it's not the cleats.

I just removed my first crank. Does this look bad? Do you have a grease recommendation for this? Thanks

Clean it really good and then use white lithium grease. If that doesn't help, pull the bottom bracket cups and put some teflon tape on the threads before reinstalling them.

I cleaned it good and it worked. No creak yesterday for 30 miles. My bike is nice and quiet again. But I need to get grease on it soon.
