I've bought some garments from eBay however, they were all unused with the tags still attached without a second guess (primarily because what I was looking for is no longer made or available at retail). Even though eBay has standards for selling used clothing (must be clean and in reasonably good condition, etc.) I would think twice before buying garments that weren't new. Understand that many of the sellers capitalize on closeouts from distributors or going out-of-business auctions at clothing stores so a good number of garments are still new and have not been previously worn. I find that many of the posters will specify whether the tags are still attached, but like any other purchase, caveat emptor. You can always send a note to ask.
