Default mavic ksyrium / aksium freewheel swap?

i'm looking into buying a used set of ksyrium sl and they comes with a campy compatible freewheel but i have a shimano cassette available.

i have the aksium on a 9 speed shimano 105 currently and wonder if i can fit in the aksium freewheel to the ksyrium for to move my shimano cassette over onto it? if that's possible, how difficult is it?

Yes, I believe that the Aksium freehub also fits the Ksyrium wheel.

As you probably know, the shimano cassette will not directly fit onto the campagnolo freehub (spline pattern is different). You can get a shimano-compatible mavic freehub that will easily convert the Ksyrium wheel to shimano for about $50.

thanks for the reply..

anyone can confirm the aksium freehub can fit into the ksyrium wheel? and if any special tools needed for the removal?
