i'm looking into buying a used set of ksyrium sl and they comes with a campy compatible freewheel but i have a shimano cassette available. i have the aksium on a 9 speed shimano 105 currently and wonder if i can fit in the aksium freewheel to the ksyrium for to move my shimano cassette over onto it? if that's possible, how difficult is it? |

As you probably know, the shimano cassette will not directly fit onto the campagnolo freehub (spline pattern is different). You can get a shimano-compatible mavic freehub that will easily convert the Ksyrium wheel to shimano for about $50. Here is a link to one (of several) online sources so you can see the picture of the different freehubs: http://www.excelsports.com/new.asp?p...ndorCode=MAVIC |
