Recommendations...

Any recommendations on a road bike that is stiff in the corners and in the descents?

Also a pair of road bike tires for racing that will hold the rode better in corners and descents?

what price range? Cannondale CADD 9 -optimo 1,2, or 3 (about $1,500 to $2,000 I think) there are MANY others...

I would not say that price is not an object but would be ok to go between 3,000 - 4,000 and I have other parts laying around that I can put on the bike.

I guess I want the bike to be my crit/road bike as I have a bike now that is great for road and hills, I just want the stiffness and road traction for the races that are closer to crits or crit/road where I need the stiffness and traction more.
