Default Hed. Wheels for Time Trials

Hi,
I've been looking around for some cheap, around £200 Time Trial wheels and come across the Hed. 3:

http://www.hedcycling.com/wheels/hed3carbon.php

They seem to be around £200 each, just wondering if anyone can recommend them and why are they so cheap if the equivalent type of wheel sells for over £1000 in other makes?

Thanks,

Ally

p.s Did the Discovery Channel Team use these wheels at one time?.....If so they cant be that bad....?(although they don't use them any more I don't think!)
