80's Colnago custom built info needed

I'm researching a Colnago custom built. Was wondering anybody can remember a bike that was not painted, but instead had zinc plating. Also the front wheel was smaller then the back. Built about 1983 or 84. Was intended for use on the flying mile record attempt. Any info would be greatly appreciated.......Jason
