I'm considering Campy Record for my new bike. Is the Ergo Brain therefore the most logical choice for a computer?

I'd suggest a Polar S720i rather than the Ergobrain, unless you really need a visual representation of the gearing you're using.

While I don't really need the visual, I have grown accustom to the integrated controls like those on my Flight Deck. What is it that you like about the Polar? I assume this is used in conjunction with your HR monitor, right?

The Polar S710/720 is an integrated HRM/bike computer/data logger unit.

They aren't cheap (especially if you get the power sensor kit), but then again, neither is Campy Record
