Jandd Front Rack / Ortleib panniers

Hi.

Has anyone used the Jandd 'FREXT' Extreme Front Rack with Ortleib QL2 panniers such as the 'Front Roller plus'? I was wondering wether the rack, being made from 3/8" (~10mm) tubing, would be too large for the pannier clips.

Any advice welcome.
