Hey all- Looking at purchasing a Trek 1000 used ($300, includes a cycleops trainer), and I can't find what components come on it. It's a year 2000 model, yellow. The rims in the picture look like they are anodized blue on the inside, are those replacements? It also has a computer (Not sure which one) and tri/aero bars. I've seen quite a few reviews that say the FD and RD are crap, but no years given, and that the seat is uncomfortable. The only caveat is that he says he broke the handle on the trainer and can't get the bike off, I figure that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks! John |

Scotty Dog's site link looks pretty good. I purchased an old Trek and sent an email to Trek via their website and asked for the spec information. They quickly replied with a copy of the specifications. If you want to be sure the specs are accurate, you may want to go straight to the source; contact Trek. |
