Hmmm...it looks like the majority no longer believe that cyclists that carry guns are paranoid and insecure gun fanatics.

Where my "let the poll statistics speak for themselves" guy???

Hmmmm, I love an existentialistic question...
Here's one for you - what's the point of your question?
Better yet, what's the point of me responding to your question??
Even better, what's the point of the Cycling Forums even being on the net??

I could continue in this vein, but will choose to stop here...but to answer the question, there appear to be a few newbies who've joined the forum and may not know of the 'other' gun carrying cyclists thread...

I resisted carry weapons but recently a dog (a sneaky beagle) that resides on my evening training route has become more violently agressive.
I have managed to out pace him for some time so he has resorted to studying Ninjitsu and employing it against me.
I have had choice but to carry a set on Nun-Chuks to counter him flying kicks.
I am not sure where this will end but I expect no good will come of it.
Beagles are notoriously vengeful and relentless.

He he, maybe on your next ride you should stop, move away from the bike, and have a chat with the ninja beagle.

Cracking his skull or popping an eyeball...no winner, he could come back to haunt you in many ways!

Expect more "whackos" coming to your hometown soon (assuming you are in Chicago). SCOTUS just said they would hear McDonald vs Chicago, which would incorporate the 2nd Amendment to all states and invalidates Chicago's gun ban.

Recalling the lead story last October - US should pull out of Chicago: more Americans killed in Chicago than Iraq - are you seriously expecting it to get much worse?
