Default about to build a really nice bike, however there is one little problem.

the frame i have is a canondale caad9. however to set up the gears and such i think i need a little piece that guides the cables. it's located on the bottom bracket. where does one find such a piece? it's really frustrating to not be able to complete the bike due to this...

Does this piece guide the cable above or below the BB? If the cable is routed below the BB, you can find the appropriate guide at your LBS. If it is a clamp on that routes the cable above the BB, you might be able to get it through your LBS, but if not, try http://www.loosescrews.com. I found one there for a restoration that I was doing.

If it is Cannondale specific, just go to an LBS that sells Cannondale. I don't know where you are located but we have several Cannondale dealers in my area. You can find a dealer using their website locator page at http://www.cannondale.com/dealer_locator.

Bring some tools with you, and go on a quest to find any bike rack in town with a similar bike/ similar piece. It was only a joke good luck.

I've got one.

Some guy on ebay sold me a caad7 frame which turned out to have been respaced for a 135mm hub. It even had fulcrum marks on the outside of the chainstays, as if he just laid it down on a workbench with the stays about halfway off, and bent.

It's used. I suppose you could have it if you sent me some money for shipping.
