Ultimate Bicycle Repair Stand/Clamp

Has anyone modified or seen an Ultimate Bicycle Repair Stand's clamp modified to be mounted on a wall or post? I'm unsure of the length for wall clearance but mounting to a wooden post seems very similar to the way it is configured on its own base/stand...

I like their clamp and want to keep my floor space in the bike room... don't want to be folding it up and storing it all the time either!
