Now you've got a bit more marketing behind campy changing to ceramic as well. I haven't sold that many hybrids for BBs yet (although sales have picked up a lot in the last week!) Most of the sets I've sold so far have been for ultra torque, but it is still a small sample set. Only sold 1 set of 7mm bearings (for raceface).
The bearings on both sides are sealed the same. There are no 'seals' on the cart bearings on either side but they sit against a seal in the cups. Plus seals on the outboard side of the bearings. Yes, easy to take off and replace. BUT I have seen maybe 3 bearings go south on UT cranks..and they have been in play for 2 years. Many more shimano bearings have gone south. It's easier with shimano because they are the standard 7mm bearing offered by PhilWood. The 6mm bearings are available only from Campagnolo. Only one upgrade to ceramic for us. We tried to talk him out of the $160 but.......

Pfft $160....probably not even as good as the ones I sell (retail price) for $100AUD...
Peter you'll be pleased to hear I'm considering doing high quality steel bearings as well in the future for those who don't want or can't afford/justify ceramics.
